About who needs care: Alfred, aka Gramps is 90 years old. He is super sweet and easy going. We care for him full time but would like to have the weekends for our three small children who are 8 and under. Gramps does have lung issues and is weak but still mobile. We just need someone to come in three times a day preferably Saturdays and Sundays to start possibly Fridays in the very neat future if feasible and things work out, to give grandpa an Ensure plus, his soda and oh as well as a very small meal. Everything will be completely laid out and drawn up and I personally will provide hands on training the first few visits. Everything that Gramps needs is in his home. Gramps is usually very very tired and sleeps most of the day. So for one hour each day, three times a day he will need a diaper change, feeding (which really just consists of his shakes, maybe put the tv on for him, extremely light housekeeping and then just assist him back in bed. There are meds involved too but if someone does not feel comfortable administering we can make arrangements. About the care needs: Gramps loves sports and history. So maybe just someone who is excited about the same bit of they dont it is not a deal breaker. Just a patient and kind person. Also someone whom is very loud. Gramps is extremely hard of hearing and needs a strong loud voice in order to effectively communicate with him Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
