About who needs care: Client has all mental faculties intact and is currently recovering from fractured hip/femur replacement surgery, with preexisting limited mobility from previous back surgeries. Underlying COPD/Asthma, hyperthyroidism. Older male Rottweiler (Romeo!), a gentle but mischievous companion, is gated off to the kitchen area. In addition to being a dog-lover, Client is an enthusiastic pro wrestling fan and enjoys Indica and the Andy Griffith show. Duties include daily verification of medications, light cleaning, meal prep, and companionship. About the care needs: Client is cautious about new people entering her home, but the appropriate candidate can expect compensation at the upper range of the pay scale listed. Large-breed dog familiarity a plus, as Romeo is an awful lot of fun and loves his scratches! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
