About the job
About who needs care: My dad has trouble standing to sitting since he broke his hip, but through the VA has all the required equipment necessary at home. He just needs help with some mobility issues such as getting up off of the commode. I live around the corner and will do all of his cooking and shopping. He is alert and has all his faculties. His hobbies are reading, art, listening to his records and watching movies. He has a housekeeper as well. About the care needs: Friendly and helpful personality. My father is a great guy who loves to tell stories. His wife passed two years ago so he is craving company- just a friendly ear. Special requirements: my father is 6 foot six inches tall, so someone with the ability to help him stand is a must. We don't want to risk a fall. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
