My 88 soon to be 89-year-old mother has lived independently in the home. I grew up in for 60 years. It has become more more difficult for her as she is age. She is essentially relative to living on the first floor. Unfortunately, on December 31, she fractured her hip, had surgery, and is in now at subacute rehab. She is tentatively scheduled for discharge to HOME on February 12. she's adamantly opposed to going to assisted living which would be optimal for her. She has really thrived in rehabilitation due to the socialization, good care, and nutrition. Up until her fall, she did drive minimally. However, we have decided that we will not allow her to return to driving. She is at too high risk for a mishap. We are looking for a position to provide companionship, house, cleaning, decluttering, organizing, and just about anything you can offer. She is of sound mind as of now, continent, and fairly set in her ways. If interested in this position, I would advise an in person meeting to determine compatibility.
