About who needs care: Breast cancer surgery recently. Needs help with physical therapy, so it gets done daily, a walk outside daily, so not alone (companion and caregiver), tidying up around the house and some meal preparation, healthy. Client may need assistance with light research and ability to read over materials for her writing. She is a Professor/writer. Easy tasks but command of language and written English a plus. About the care needs: Someone who is upbeat and likes conversation when appropriate. A knowledge of movement/exercise would be great as client will need to do physical therapy exercises. If caregiver likes intelligence and knowledge and likes to cook individual health meals, this is a strong plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
