About who needs care: My mom is currently having A-fib issues, incontinence, may still have H-pylori bacteria infection (Won't know if its gone for a couple weeks yet). And she has Spinal Stenosis, which isn't acting up currently but when it does, its pretty bad. I think she's currently having terrible reactions to new heart meds- we are working on that now. I'm not sure when or even IF we will use this service - she's normally pretty self sufficient & independent but the last few months all these things came crashing down at once & she's having trouble taking her meds correctly. I live an hour away & have been going back & forth a couple times a week & keeping her at our home too. May need someone few days a week for few hours. I'm not even positive yet. About the care needs: Not afraid to clean, shop, cook, take her to bank, etc. help with pills. Mom likes doing puzzles, etc. Need someone VERY patient. Preferably older. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
