I need a patient advocate with *medical* experience (e. g. nurse). Our care concerns are: Mobility Assistance, Transportation. Duties include transportation (mostly doctor's appointments, at this point). Main duty would be to take 66-year-old female to doctor appointments and be assertive (not aggressive) with doctors who may try to dismiss patient without any testing. Caregiver needs to have a medical background to be able to meet with patient, assess patient has an illness needing to be addressed and take patient to doctor appointments and advocate for proper tests needed. The timing of care will vary on doctor's appointments, so caregiver needs to be free at least one weekday. Only duty, as of now, would be doctor office visits.
