About the job
About who needs care: She is an woman in her late 80's. She has memory problems either dementia or Alzheimer's and is confined to a wheel chair. She can not transfer herself. She is generally pleasant and will need help toileting and bathing. We are looking for a 9 a.m. start time until at least 3:00 p.m. About the care needs: Hopefully the caregiver will have patience and experience dealing with dementia patients. Someone who will take her for the occasional walk when its nice out and take general care for her during the day. She will need to be able to transfer her to and from the toilet. And help get her out of bed in the morning, cleaned and dressed. There will be someone there in the morning to help with that. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
