Hands-on Care Needed For My Father In Apalachin

About who needs care: My father was diagnosed with Dementia in 2023 and currently needs assistance with bathing, dressing, household chores such as vacuuming and laundry. He is a simple man who enjoys listening to the radio and taking a couple naps a day. If willing and able, he does love to take rides around the area and reminisce or stop at the grocery store to get some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. We would love someone who could come mid mornings and keep him company in additional to assisting him with some personal care a few days a week. About the care needs: We are in search of someone who is compassionate and patient. My father is a man who has lived to the "beat of his own drum" for many years now and therefore, losing independence has been a difficult transition. Some who can communicate with a person who is cognitively declining would be preferred. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
