My wife is 75 years old and has advanced Alzheimer's requiring accompaniment at all times, She has a very pleasant, sweet and likable disposition. She is in good physical condition and likes to take walks and do fun things. She loves all kinds of music that at times calm her and other times entertain her. She needs help dressing, showering, and toileting. Also some meal preparation and help at the table is needed. She gets very tired and confused most evenings and likes to go to bed early and get up early. The days/hours I list here are a best guess of what is needed now. I can't say what will work best for a practical schedule that includes among other things caregiver availability and time my wife spends at an adult daycare facility. I also expect that as her disease progresses she will need more care at home and less at daycare.
