About the job
Seeking live-in caregiver (3-days per week) with Alzheimer's/Dementia experience for a couple in their 80s. Responsibilities include toileting, dressing, mobility assistance, preparing meals, light house-keeping, companionship and social interaction. Family and hourly care-giver provide assistance to live-in during the day. Experience working with colostomy, Purewick and external male catheters preferred but not necessary. Caregivers must be COVID vaccinated. Preference for caregivers with nursing, nursing-assistant, or home health aide experience and for caregiver who has own transportation. Preferred workdays Friday thru Monday (3nights), but days are negotiable. Training and part time work starts in April with regular weekly schedule starting July. Since this is a live-in position, we will pay a fixed daily rate based on experience.
