Seeking companion care near Toms River for my parents in their 80s. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. You'll be responsible for accompanying to/from appointments. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained. My dad has dementia and sometimes we just need someone to stay with him so he is not alone. He would need supervision when walking to the bathroom. My sister lives with them but works from home during the day. Ideally, I would love for someone to give her some relief on the weekends so she can get some time off caregiving.
