About the job
I'm looking for live-in home care for my mother in her 90s. Assistance with medication is needed. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. Please have experience assisting with feeding. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Mother is in a wheelchair and unable to propel herself. Needs assistance getting in and out of her apartment using a ramp. Mom is able to stand for short periods of time to be changed and to get in and out of bed. We will be participating in the Medicaid PPP program, which allows us to hire and pay for our own caregivers. We have a comfortable spare room to offer.
