We're looking for someone(s) flexible for occasional weekend and evening care. It may include overnight depending on the circumstances. These would be planned in advance, a week or two usually. Time need will vary. She has COPD and uses O2 concentrators 24/7. Has short-term memory issues and minor supervision using the concentrators to ensure she is connected and has attachment to a bipap at bedtime. Both simple to operate. Currently recovering from hip surgery but using a walker without problem. Ideal day: Up ca. 7:30, breakfast; a bit of gardening in spring and summer; afternoons reading by the pool; evenings dinner and watching some TV series. Bed after 8, reading in bed, the connection to bipap, 02 concentrator and sleep. Likes to read and do crossword puzzles. If late evening or overnight would need to help with dressing/undressing.
