About who needs care: Has COPD and uses O2 concentrator 24/7. Has short term memory issues and minor supervision using the concentrators. Likes to read and do crossword puzzles. Ideal day: Up ca. 7:30, breakfast, at home in mornings; doing a bit of gardening in spring and summer; afternoons reading by the pool; evenings dinner and watching some TV series. Bed after 8, reading in bed, the connection to bipap and sleep. About the care needs: Just need someone around when I'm not home; timing is variable, Person would need to know a little about the O2 concentrators which are simple to operate. Not sure about personality type but not intrusive as she does not like to have someone watching her all the time... like most of us, I guess. The timing of this is still uncertain, probably starting in May.
