About who needs care: Bone on bone knee, recent surgery for shattered hip. Extreme arthritis in hands, right hand almost useless, left hand some use. Currently in rehab, walking with walker for short periods with therapist only at this time. Not safe to transfer alone, needs assistance with everything. Loves to read, use her Grandpad, watch some tv, enjoys card games (knock rummy), tiles, word search puzzles. Get up, wash- up and dress in morning; coffee, hot lemon water, yogurt with blueberries or very or oatmeal for breakfast, sits at kitchen table reading, etc; has lunch. Most day sitting in kitchen. After getting ready for bed, sits in recliner in living room, uses this for sleeping. Gets up frequently during night to use bathroom About the care needs: Calm, attentive, interactive, patient, sense of humor . strong to assist with transfers, skilled in home care. Cooking, light housework, neat. Be good if play cards, dominos together. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
