About the job
I am looking for someone to help us on Sundays to fill out our caregiver schedule for the week, ideally from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Park Ridge. This would involve helping my Dad, who is in his early 90's. He would need help getting breakfast and lunch, and can often use some encouragement in taking his shower. He does some in-home exercises or walks around the neighborhood, and if time permits, you could assist with that as well. this would also involve some light housework in terms of cleaning dishes, floors, toilet, as well as laundry if needed (but generally not much on a Sunday). Would prefer someone with at least 5 years senior caregiver experience and who lives within 10 minutes (or so) of Park Ridge and has reliable transportation. My Dad is pleasant and likes to be around people. He often listens to music, and watches a little TV.
