About who needs care: Mom is 96 with dementia. She is very bright, intelligent, and loves to talk stories! She is physically challenged with arthritis that limits her ability to walk, but not every day. That is the most challenging issue for her caretakers. She is a strong southern Christian woman who loves to sing old hymns. She is always cold and keeps her room very warm; we tease her-, she laughs at us! About the care needs: Friendly, outgoing, mature ( but that doesn't mean aged). Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping for Mom. We are seeking additional part time support on weekdays - a minimum of 12 hours each week - to fill in the gaps for a CNA who is already supporting our Mother.
