About the job
Seeking an experienced health care worker who is in good physical shape to assist husband and wife seniors who have always been independent until now. Seeking someone who has some nursing type skills to be able to keep track of changes in their health, and who has their own car for transportation. Initial needs will include the ability to take one or both of the seniors to their doctor appointments (some of those in Center City, Philadelphia), perform some grocery shopping, pick up medications, supervise the taking of medication, perhaps some light cooking, help with misc physical tasks they can no longer handle, and helping the seniors safely navigate the two-story home. They have a housekeeper, so it's unlikely any housekeeping needs will be included. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
