About who needs care: Mom has MS, should be using a walker to get around the house Looking for light housekeeping/laundry. Take Mom to appointments, run errands with her/for her Take Mom for walks when weather gets warmer Help mom with garden on deck Prepare lunch and dinner for my Mom & brother Mom enjoys hand work *crocheting, plastic canvas, reading, watching TV, gardening in nice weather. About the care needs: Hobbies similar to my Mom's Need to be able to cook and not just necessarily reheat leftovers from frig/freezer Mom is easy going but does like some quiet time, does not need to be engaged in conversation for the entire time caregiver is here. Brother who has down syndrome also lives in the house, pretty independent but cannot cook for himself, thus caregiver would need to prepare meals for both. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
