About who needs care: My husband is a very easy-going and calm dementia patient who needs very little care. He does need help with some personal things such as bathing and dressing. He is not bedridden. He is very mobile.. He needs a companion to give him something to eat, maybe some snacks. He loves to watch the game shows. He can have a great conversation with you, but he will forget it 10 minutes later.. I dont believe . He loves to watch the game shows. About the care needs: The only specialized skills they would need is to be trustworthy, sweet and patient. A good fit for our family would be someone who is happy, loving, with a great personality and one who would want to fit into a family that has those same qualities.. in time, if the fit is right, there would be a possibility of extended hours. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
