About who needs care: She has macular degeneration and unable to see clearly. She does have short term memory loss. She remembers the past but does forget daily conversations. She loves to talk and can you tell you lots of stories. She lives in her own apartment in a senior hi-rise on the 11th floor. She uses a walker and we use a wheelchair when going outside. She does not go downstairs unless she is with her friend who lives in the building. She has been there for about 14 years. We just want someone to come in to talk to her for a couple hours a day. Help her get into the shower when one is needed. My sister goes a couple times a week. I go on the weekend. She has her friend that comes up daily for an hour or so. But we would like someone to spend a couple hours a day. Little cleaning, give her breakfast or lunch when there.
