About who needs care: To be determined. My mother is in the hospital. She will need 24 hour care. Looking for dependable 12 hour AM and PM shift coverage. I am unsure if she will be able to use a walker again. She needs am care, meals and companionship. About the care needs: The caregivers need to be able to get my mother from bed to chair, commode and wheel chair, bathe and change her as she is in adult diapers, prepare meals and feed my mother. Caregiver must be kind and very good at explaining what she is doing and why. My mother like to be in charge so we let her choose/agree to care her way as much as possible. It makes her happy. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
