About who needs care: Basically, my mother could use help in the morning with getting her pills, breakfast and getting ready for the day. Also, assistance with doing laundry and some light housework. She then likes to go downstairs around 1 p.m. to socialize and play cards' and Bingo. About the care needs: A warm and engaging woman caregiver would be a very good fit, preferably in her 40's to 60's. Definitely not someone that would insist on watching TV while with my mom. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
