The caregiver is for my 30-year-old my special needs daughter with Rett syndrome and daily mild seizures. My husband and I are both retired and are looking for assistance with daily living activities for my daughter. But, also needs companionship and stimulation with activities she enjoys. Going to the movies, shopping at Target are a few examples. My daughter uses a transport wheelchair when outside the home for safety. She also takes anti-seizure medications and one dose is to be given by the caregiver in the afternoon. She is mobile, but due to seizures will need to be supported when walking in the house. We need assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and meal preparation. Experience with seizures is helpful, and CPR, patience, and compassionate, and enthusiastic attitude. Liz is a very happy young woman and likes to engage with people.
