About who needs care: My mom had a 10 day hospital stay and needs assistance with toileting, getting in and out of bed, dressing and other various tasks. My mother has complete control of her mental faculties and a great personality. Unfortunately, she is experiencing a frozen vocal cord, which makes speaking difficult. However, she will write on a board to express her needs if the caregiver cannot understand her. About the care needs: Someone funny, authentic and patient. She is not a large woman, but the person needs to be skilled and moving her from place to place. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
