About the job
2 day/week Live-in... Our father is house-bound but mentally completely fit; super funny & kind- but very little mobility. Needs sporadic help- mornings breakfast, putting on his left sock (he can't reach that one)... then 1:00 lunch prep and then tea time 3:00, supper 5:00 PM, clean up, then getting the left sock on for bed. Perfect gig for someone who has an online job or is studying... nothing more than meal-oriented and sock-oriented things... We have food already prepared - so only breakfast needs making (he has a set routine of fruit but then he'll request something else...) Hoping for day and overnight care- there is never anything to do at night but we'd be more at peace if someone were there. $150/day. Sunday evening through Tuesday evening= $300 (more pay if you're willing to do foot care.) No need to entertain ...
