About the job
Looking for help keeping my father at home. He lives with my husband and I. Due to loss of mobility and impaired memory we do not leave him alone. We could use a hand getting him up and ready for the day. You would assist him with dressing, shaving, prepare meals (cereal, sandwich) monitor blood sugar, watch tv. He is pleasant and enjoys company. He uses a walker/ wheelchair to ambulate. Applicant must be comfortable changing depends and providing toileting assistance. Person should be strong, flexible and familiar with body mechanics and transfers. Ideal candidate is a local, positive, dog lover who is a good listener and clear communicator.
