Companion Care Needed For My Loved One In Gilford

About who needs care: My 88-year-old mother-in-law has extreme memory problems, but is physically able for her age. She lives near my husband and I in Florida for 6 months of the year. During the summer months she lives alone in Gilford, NH. We would like to start with 2 days a week, possibly to increase. Besides the social aspect, she would require some light housekeeping (i. e. garbage removal, vacuuming, dusting), and transportation for errands such as grocery shopping and church. Thank you. About the care needs: We're looking for a caregiver that is patient, kind, and would be happy to chat, and, of course, a very trustworthy individual. My mother-in-law is happy to talk to anyone, but sometimes repeats questions or stories, and the correct caregiver would show compassion and understanding. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
