About who needs care: 98 yo female with Alzheimer's, pleasant personality. Sleeps in the morning. In early afternoon enjoys folding laundry, drying dishes, organizing small items. Occasional typical sundowners but is easily redirected with simple tasks such as folding laundry. Simple breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/cookies and dinner. About the care needs: Caregiver must be female, (patient is not comfortable around men). Caregiver should have experience with Alzheimer's, memory loss, and repetitive conversations. Caregiver needs to have patience and be engaged and have a watchful eye on patient throughout the day and during simple tasks (not distracted on their personal cellphone). Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
