I ditched Medicaid in 1996 to avoid living in poverty any longer. Trashed my left knee in October '23. Can no longer toilet or shower bench transfer without a spotter and a little help. No heavy lifting involved. Every third morning is a bathroom routine, so it rotates over a three week cycle, which is weird, but it rules my life. The house will be warm. Stereo will be on. Since I'm paying for help to make sure I'm safe in the bathroom, house cleaning of my tiny house and dressing assistance make a huge difference. Fully fenced yard on a corner lot for my dogs and any foster dogs that may be here. It would be great to have morning help really early sometimes on Sundays so I can go car racing on the weekends.
