About who needs care: 1. recovering from hip fracture. unable to stand up without the belt 2. needs blood pressure and ankle swelling checked daily to determine his meds for the day. 3. Hobbies; Likes to watch DVD's from his collection. westerns, war movies, police dramas. 4. Daily routine; wakes between 7:30-9, needs assistance getting to the bathroom, wiping, dressing, getting to the table, breakfast served, getting back to his recliner, where he spends the day, unless he has to go to the bathroom. About the care needs: Fun strong kind personality. Don't talk about politics. He likes birds, his squirrels that he feeds. He was a Marine in the Korean War, which he is very proud of, so someone respectful to that. He is 6' tall, so someone that is able to get him up without dropping him and is patient with him. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
