About who needs care: My mom has a compound fracture in her lower back. Doing PT at home 2 times a week. She is getting an MRI today because she isn't getting any better. Walks with a walker and is having a hard time getting up and down. Her memory has deteriorated in the last 2 months and is confused with her medicine and cant remember if she took them or says she does and does not. About the care needs: She doesn't handle pain well and the caregiver will need to have lots of patience and understanding to her memory loss. She likes to talk and loves Elvis and use to love to dance. She likes crafts and adult coloring books. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
