About who needs care: My mother in law is a 71-year-old widow with 8 living children. She is an insulin dependent diabetic, has had numerous cardiac procedures, cannot drive due to absent seizures, and has limited independent mobility and is an extreme fall risk. She enjoys attending the senior center for lunches, church for socializing, her cats, gossiping about her family, and watching tv. She thrives in chaos and abhors structure and cleanliness. About the care needs: Someone who is friendly with a firm demeanor and take charge attitude would be a good fit for Susan. We are looking for someone who can be compassionate but still stand strong against her constant attempts to undermine her own health. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
