About the job
Seeking care for socially-inclined Mom who is 93, rollator-mobile, and lives in Porters Neck Village (PNV), Wilmington. Hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 1:30-5 p.m. (some flexibility). Experience with managing and administering calendar and care is required. You will make appts, transport to/from appts (reliable car required - we pay mileage), take notes during dr appts, pick up meds, communicate care needs to family and other caregivers. Occasional assistance with bathing and wound care (though morning CNA handles most bathing - and you can bring Mom to Nurse's office for wound care if preferred). Some grocery shopping and errands when appropriate. When there's time, Mom loves playing cards and games. Preference for non-smoker and first-aid trained.
