Seeking Experienced Senior Care Companion For Loving Father

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced senior care companion to assist with the care of our father. He has dementia and requires mobility assistance due to hemiplegia, so experience in these areas is essential. This role is primarily to provide respite care for our mother, who is the primary caregiver, as we live out of town and she has limited support in Wilmington. The companion may be assisting while she is in the home. Responsibilities Include: Mobility assistance, including transfers to and from bed, chair, and shower, Dressing and personal hygiene care, Meal preparation, Light housekeeping, Providing companionship and social engagement, Running errands and transportation as needed, Ideal Candidate Qualifications: CNA or nursing exp, Previous experience with dementia care and mobility assistance.
