Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Walnut Cove

About who needs care: * Hi, I'm checking on options. Mom is in very southern central Stokes County NC. She will be 90 in May. She is having a pacemaker implanted about 14-February (exact date TBD) and I'm interested in aftercare. She will need overall I imagine about 6 weeks total of care. She will wear a sling on her left arm for a few weeks although I don't know duration during the day -- I'll be reviewing that in detail with her this weekend. So likely need help with getting dressed, making bed, likely some bathing, dressed for bed at night, light food prep if needed (light dish washing... she will use paper plates/cups as much as possible). I live right outside of Raleigh about 2 hours East. I can work some remote so plan to be there a lot for first two weeks then probably 3 days per week (Fri, Sat, Sun). Mom is very sociable and enjoys talking to people; her mind and memory are as good as when she was 20; her memory is better than mine! Pre-op mobility she gets around pretty well, can still do some cleaning & light chores around the house (sweeping, laundry, light vacuuming, making her bed, bathing, getting mail - a long driveway) but very limited driving right now. COPD and AFib doing better after cardioversion 2 weeks ago. About the care needs: Nothing new from previous question other than someone very friendly. She has a rural background, still lives on the farm. Someone also very sociable would be best. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
