Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother

About who needs care: She is bedridden with dementia. She has a Foley catheter that requires bag to be emptied as needed (usually in the morning). She does wear adult diapers so she does require changing and bathing daily. There wouldn't be any real lifting required other than the ability to pull her up in the hospital bed and being able to roll her as needed when cleaning her. Breakfast would need to be prepared but lunch would typically just need to be reheated. We need someone who can cover the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Monday and Friday. Could possibly be more days at times. She enjoys watching crime tv shows and just enjoys having company to talk to. She is not high maintenance and is pretty easy to manage. About the care needs: We need someone who is reliable and can work the hours agreed upon. We would want someone who would keep her company and talk to her throughout the day. We need someone who will be understanding to the fact that she does have dementia so she has good days and bad days. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
