About the job
Mother-in-law is having surgery in Jan 25 and is the main caregiver for her husband. He has a form of Muscular Dystrophy, known as IBM, she will need someone to help with him while she recovers. He is in a motorized wheelchair. They use a sit to stand lift to get him to bathroom and into a shower chair. He can stand while holding on. He has to have help getting off the bed by the sit to stand lift. They have a bed that the head rises and helps him sit up. He needs help to get dressed but can brush his teeth and feed himself. He loves sports and was a golfer prior to the disease. Sings in church choir. Loves spending time with friends and family especially grand and great grandchildren. Looking for: Compassionate, friendly, fun-loving non smoker. Services needed include: companionship, meal assist, bathing/dressing, mobility assist.
