About who needs care: Post meningitis, IDD, epilepsy- Needing staff to assist with housework, meals, bathing, exercising, and other activities needed for range of motion and daily living skills. ( AKA Direct Support Provider) . The job is State Paid. Pay ranges from 12. 00 to 15. 00 an hour to start. And is based on experience. You must have Crisis intervention training and First Aid CPR training. Your hours per week can range from 10 to 20 hours up to a total of 40 hours per month. Part time position. A criminal background check and healthcare registry will be run. Must have reliable transportation. Be committed to the position for at least 2 yrs. You will be on a 90-day probation period. after 90- days an evaluation will be run - once it is ran you could receive a raise. (will be discussed at interview) We offer July 4 th bonuses and Christmas bonuses to or staff. Prefer a CNA or person with direct support provider experience working with special needs. My daughter is a ray of sunshine most days. She loves animals, music and trains. She loves dancing and bowling. She likes to go for walks and shopping at times. She enjoys being around the people she knows and her family. She loves going camping and to church. She has a favorite store that she visits regularly where she has friends that work there. And she has a favorite restaurant. She has a regular routine each day that should be followed. About the care needs: A person that will work with my daughter should be outgoing, happy and playful with energy. (she loves acting silly and playing around) Staff must follow guidelines set forth by the state in the care of my daughter Staff will need to be creative and come up ideas for my daughter to do at times to keep her engaged. Whether it be activities at home or out into the community. Staff must assist My daughter with making sure she is safe at all times from exploitation, safety at home and when pout in the community. (will be explained at interview) . Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
