About the job
We're looking for hands-on care for my husband who is 67, has Muscular Dystrophy, and currently uses a electric wheelchair. CNA certification is required! Assistance with showering is one of our requirements. Mornings involve transfer to a shower chair, help with washing hair, toweling off after shower, getting dressed. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Some light housekeeping is involved. We're looking for someone to assist with stretching/light exercise at home. Preferences for a CNA/caregiver who is energetic, a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and CPR / first aid trained. COVID-19 vaccinated and boosted are required.
