Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Pinehurst

About who needs care: My father passed away last year and he was the one that kind of ran the house. Mom is adamant she wants to stay at home, so I have been coming down once a week from Durham to support her, but need some help since its not sustainable for me to come every week. She is content to sit and read most of the day, but we want someone to fix her some meals, help with groceries, drive her to appointments and do some light house cleaning / organizing. Maybe also encourage her to shower once a week. About the care needs: She doesn't like to chat too much, but she does like to gossip! She reads a lot, especially mysteries and anything about royalty. While she isn't great with technology, she loves cat videos online. We want someone who will be calm and kind, attentive but not intrusive, someone who can think ahead and is motivated to help. She does have a small dog who takes some time to warm up to new people. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
