Seeking a compassionate, reliable single caregiver or couple for a live-in position assisting an independent senior in a private home overlooking the water on Ocracoke Island, NC. This role is not for companionship but to ensure daily needs are met while respecting personal privacy and independence. Responsibilities include: -Light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, general tidying, recycling, trash) -Meal preparation and prompting to eat -Medication and supplement reminders -Transportation: regular in town. Up banks ~3 weeks for groceries. Off-island medical appt as needed -Encouraging a regular sleep/wake cycle -Ensure home safety and accident prevention.
