If she were to fall, do you feel comfortable solving the situation? I pay by check or zelle and I comply with all minimum wage, payroll, and tax requirements. I give a w-2 and not a 1099. I withhold your portion of Social Security and Medicare and pay it when I submit the employers portion. Applicant will fill out an I-9 and w-4 for me. This job is ongoing.
