Hands-on Care 30-40 Hrs/Week Needed For My 87 Year Old Mother

Candidate must be compassionate, helpful, reliable, and conscientious. Mom was born w/ 2 fingers on each hand and a partial foot which uses a prosthesis. Arthritis in back, hip, and shoulder makes it hard to open containers, put on socks/shoes, etc. She uses a walker in her apartment or a riding scooter/ wheelchair when out and about. Responsibilities include transporting her to dr. appointments and social engagements, assisting with showering, preparing snacks, organizing medications, running errands, light housekeeping, general companionship, etc. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Experience with physical or occupational therapy is a plus. Ideal candidate would be articulate and professional, desiring to provide both medical care and companionship.
