Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Lillington

About who needs care: This request is for my father in law. He is 65 and recently discharged from the hospital. He has mobility issues related to recent surgery on his legs from a severe infection as well as significant joint pain. He is currently visiting a wound care clinic twice a week and will also need to begin visits to a primary care physician as well as any specialists they recommend. He needs assistance getting in and out of his home as all entrances have a couple of stairs that do not have handrails. He also needs assistance with daily tasks such as light housework, meal prep, transportation to and from healthcare visits. Ideally this caregiver would attend the healthcare visits and be able to relay information back to his son and daughter who do not live in North Carolina but are assisting with different aspects of his care. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver would be patient and agreeable to explaining things more than once. My father in law can go off on tangents, can be suspicious of people and has difficulty understanding the information that doctors and healthcare providers give him. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
