About who needs care: Sent home on Hospice. Currently declining. Still somewhat mobile, very unsteady and weak. I will need help lifting, getting him to bathroom/bedside toilet, bathing, etc. I am his daughter striving to keep his dignity intact as long as possible. He is beginning to have some incontinence issues. - help him from bed to restroom, bath/wash off, change undergarments and put on day clothes then into kitchen for breakfast and spends time watching wildlife out sliding doors. - another restroom trip if needed, into living room for tv or light conversation, snacks/water, etc. Naps often. - light lunch or protein smoothie (if he's willing) -afternoon of tv or visits, social conversations, restroom, will nap again. -dinner (around table if able/willing. Restroom and socialization, tv, etc. change into bed clothing, etc - get into bed About the care needs: Pleasant, happy personality that enjoys joking and laughing. My veteran senior enjoyed hunting and fishing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
