About who needs care: My father-in-law has Parkinson's and Parkinson's dementia, overactive bladder and black tarry stools. He is unaware of when he pees or poops and is constantly wheelchair or bed bound. He can eat on his own but cannot make his own food. He wears diapers not depends and we have to put a pad insert in them to make sure that he does not overpee them. He is a former educator and has a master's degree in English, but struggles to find words most days and stay on target when he is speaking. About the care needs: Someone who is a good listener, caring and calm. He weighs roughly 160 lb and cannot stand to get out of the wheelchair or out of the bed. He does like watching TV, especially sports and mostly baseball and hockey. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
