About who needs care: Highly functioning young adult with a spinal cord injury. Works full time and needs assistance in the mornings. Needs help transferring in and out of bed into wheelchair/shower chair, dressing, shower, and bathroom. (About 160lbs). Has a slide board and transfer belt for doing transfers in and out of bed, very easy. Some mornings needs assistance to drive to work in van, then return the van to residence. Other mornings a co-worker will pick up. The entire process takes approximately 3 hours. Some nights may need assistance transferring into bed Please reach out with any questions.
