My mother has Parkinson's and Lewy bodies dementia. She has been in a short term rehab for the last three months and will be discharged towards the middle or end of this month. I am looking for some additional support as her primary caregiver. Mom typically likes to get out of bed around 9 a.m. She uses a walker and has a shuffle in her step due to Parkinson's. While she doesn't need to be lifted, she generally requires assistance scooting to the edge of the bed and transfer so she can sit up and grab her walker. Though she moves slowly, she can manage to get herself to the bathroom. Afterward, she'll need help getting dressed. Mom is very routine-oriented and eats the same thing every morning: cereal and a hot cup of coffee. Once she's done, she'll sit in her recliner to watch TV. One little Yorkie named Joy
